光华中文学校演讲比赛规则 2022 （秋季学期）
GHCS Speech Contest General Guidelines （2022 Fall Term）
光华中文学校于每学年秋季举行演讲比赛， 每个中文班级必须参加(GHCS holds Speech Contest in every Fall semester. Every Chinese Class is required to participate in).
比赛时间和分组 (Contest Time and Groups)
今年演讲比赛时间是 11/13/2022 （ 比赛第一周 ）和 11/20/2022 （ 比赛第二周） (This year’s contest time is 11/13/2022 – First week and 11/20/2022- Second week)
双语班和成人班 (CES Class and Adult Chinese Class)：双语班和成人班的学生直接进入年级比赛。所有学生自愿报名， 评委由团队成员担任。 比赛在第一周 (11/13/2021 )进行 (Students in CES class and Adult Chinese Class will not have class level contest, but directly go to Grade level contest. All students are welcome to participate. School management team members will be the judges. The contest will be held on the first week of contest -11/13/2022 for this year) 。
非双语班 (Non CES Class)： 第一周 (11/13/2022)以班级为单位进行比赛。班级比赛前三名在第二周(11/20/2022) 进行年级比赛。 班级比赛评委由家长担任， 家长不给自己孩子打分。班级比赛出线人数参考下面的班级出线人数规定部分。 年级比赛评委由学校统一安排 （First week 11/13/2022 is class level contest for non CES classes. First 3 places from class level will enter into grade level contest on 11/20/2022. Parents will be judges for class level contest with exception that parents will not judge their own child’s speech. Please refer to the rules for students go to grade level contest. Grade level contest will be arranged by school management team）。
比赛形式 （Contest format）： 演讲比赛的班级比赛根据班级上课的形式进行(实体课的班级比赛在课堂进行, 网课的班级在网上进行）， 但年级比赛全部在学校现场进行， 所以网课班级的出线学生也必须在比赛时间到学校进行比赛。 年级比赛演具体安排会在比赛前发给老师价值和学生。 Class level contest format will be the same with class format – In person class will have contest on site, and virtual class contest will be held online, but grade level contest will be held on site for all classes and virtual class winners will need to come to school to attend grade level contest. Grade level contest arrangement will be sent to teachers, parents and students before contest day.
比赛评分(Contest Rating): 比赛评分表会发给老师和放到学校网上。评委也可以在比赛当日到学校办公室领取（Rating forms will be sent to teachers via email and also will be posted to school website. Judges can also go to school office to get rating form on contest day）.
演讲要求(Detailed guidelines for speech )
- 主題（Theme）： 所见所闻 ，事件或人物均可。Any meaningful topics including evens or characters
- 形式 （ Format）：中文演讲形式不限，但必须是个人演讲，不是表演节目，也不应带道具放背景音乐。学生自己 撰写的演讲稿应根据写作水平加分 (1-5)。 No Limitation, but must be a personal speech. No Props or background music are allowed. Student Self-Written Speech content will be given extra points from scale 1 to 5 depending upon their writing.
- 时间（Time ） 每个学生的演讲时间应该限制在 3 分钟，不得超过5 分钟，超时减分。 Student’s speech should be limited within 3 minutes, no longer than 3.5 minutes. Speech longer than 3.5 minutes will get a discounted score.
KG-G9比赛流程 （Procedure of Contest for KG-G9）：
- 班级比赛(Class Level Contest )：
比赛首先在班级进行。 所有老师都必须在学校规定的时间组织班级比赛，选出优胜者参加年级比赛。 班级比赛的评委由各班家长担任， 建议家长不给自己的孩子打分。老师可以让学生自由随机抽取提前准备好的号码，然后按所抽号码的顺序进行比赛。 老师可以在学校网站下载演讲比赛评分表也可以到学校办公室领取。班级优胜者将会参加在下一周举行的年级演讲比赛(Class level contest will be held first. Each class is required to have a class level contest at school indicated time and send class level winners for grade level contest. It is mandatory for all teachers and students. For class level contest, each class will have their own parents to be the judges. Suggest parents not to judge their own child. Please have the students to draw the number to determine the sequence before the contest. Rating Forms are posted on school website under Form section. Teachers can print the forms for your own class. Class level winners will attend grade level contest at the following week).
2) 班级比赛之后 (After Class Level Contest )：
班级比赛之后请老师尽快将班级优胜者中英文名单通过 Google Form 报给张静 . 张静将会汇总各 班的名单安排年级演讲比赛
After class level contest, each teacher needs send your class level winners Names in both English and Chinese to school via Google Form asap. Jing Zhang will compile the list for grade level and make arrangements for grade level contest)
3) 年级比赛(Grade Level Contest )：
年级比赛的地点，形式，主持老师 和评委安排会在年级比赛前发给老师。
Grade level Contest Location format, Judges and host teacher arrangements will be sent prior to grade level contest.
班级比赛出线规则(Rules for Number of Winners to Grade Level from each class):
各班出线人数时根据班级人数决定的, 规则如下( The number of the winners for each class will be adjusted according to the class size as the following):
- 班级注册学生 1-5 人，可以出线一位学生参加年级比赛 (Classes with registered students from 1-5 could send 1 student to grade level contest).
- 班级注册学生 6-10 人，可以出线两位学生参加年级比赛 (Classes with registered students from 6-10 could send 2 students to grade level contest).
- 班级注册学生 11-15 人，可以出线三位学生参加年级比赛 (Classes with registered students from 11-15 could send 3 students to grade level contest).
- 班级注册学生 16_20，可以出线四位学生参加年级比赛 (Classes with registered students 16-20 could send 4 students to grade level contest).
- 班级注册学生 21 or above，可以出线五位学生参加年级比赛 (Classes with registered students 21 or above could send 5 students to grade level contest).
