3.  Summer Volunteer / Summer Program in China
    This program will be run by China USA International. All campers will have opportunity to work closely with giant panda keepers at China's Largest Giant Panda Base. All working hours are counted as volunteer hours and a certificate will be issued at the end of the program. In addition, campers will have opportunities to visit Terracotta in Xi'an, Forbidden City in Beijing, etc. You may find more detail information from the flyer attached. 5.  Appreciation to Dr. Eugene Wampler for His Contribution to a China Free of Hepatitis B
    感谢Dr. Wampler对中国战胜乙肝的贡献
    In early 90’s, Merck & Co. Inc. transferred its latest genetic engineering vaccine technology to China to help tackle its No.1 health priority, hepatitis B. A decision and action that saved millions of lives in China. Dr. Eugene Wampler, one of the key contributors in the Merck’s Hepatitis B vaccine (HBV) team then, had spent months in China to help build the HBV manufacture plant and trained Chinese scientists for this purpose. Dr. Wampler is now under hospice care at his Harleysville home. Please join us to show our appreciation to his great contribution to the health of Chinese people.
    Cards will be available this coming Sunday for you to sign and write messages to Dr. Wampler. One card will be placed in the School Office between 3:00 to 4:10; Another one will be on a desk outside Classroom 119 between 1:00 to 2:00 PM, and outside Classroom 330 between 3:00 to 4:00 PM. 6.  Celebrating Chinese Culture with American Seniors This Weekend/和美国老人们分享中国文化
    Our school is invited to perform at a senior home, Landing at Willow Grove this coming Saturday, February 23, 2019. We will present to the seniors a variety of programs representing Chinese culture, including children dance, singing and dance, yo-yo, solo song, and ancient Dun Huang dance. Participating classes are Performing Art (Ages 5-6), (Ages 7-8), (Ages >9), Chinese Yo-Yo, G1B, Vocal Lesson for Adult, and Adult Dance.

    本周末2月23日,我们学校受邀参加老年公寓(Landing at Willow Grove)的中国文化活动。我们的学生将给老人们带去多种形式,具有中国特色的节目,包括儿童舞蹈《小燕子》,歌舞《虫儿飞》,空竹,女高音独唱,和敦煌舞。参加演出的班级有表演艺术班5-6岁,7-8岁,9岁,G1B,空竹班,成人声乐班,和家长舞蹈班。

An enlightening event with information about navigating the college prep and application processes. Topics include:

3)  AP Academy Seminar
    AP Academy will hold a seminar on March 17, 2019. This seminar aims to the students who are in grade of 8th to 12th. It is about College and You.
    Many times we have a hard time understanding where to go in life. Even as young adults and college graduates, many people have a hard time grasping the right career paths and purposes. In this seminar, we will take a personality test and discuss what makes a successful person and the best paths to take as a prospective college student. Join us for a seminar that helps you discover yourself and find the right path for your future.
    You may use the following link to registered in advance if you are interested to come. Please notice that this seminar aims to students and the seminar will be held during regular Chinese class time. The seminar will last one hour.
